Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set and prepare tables according to Dining Room standards.
- Take and process multiple meal orders with care.
- Serve residents and guests with patience and understanding, ensuring their needs are met.
- Communicate residents’ preferences and feedback to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness in the Dining Room, including sanitizing floors and removing soiled items.
- Assist in the preparation of special events and themed meals.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with a restaurant or dining setting.
- Excellent multitasking, communication, and customer service skills.
- A sincere desire to work with older adults, coupled with patience and understanding of their unique needs.
- Ability to push/pull carts, carry objects up to 25 lbs, and handle various physical tasks throughout the day.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends.
- Must demonstrate calmness and reliability in any situation, alongside a cheerful and enthusiastic demeanor.
