Maria Lastoria will oversee The Cordwainer community operations. Maria has more than 30 years’ experience in senior living, and she was recently named Executive Director of the Year by the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association. Maria previously served as Regional Director of Operations overseeing six senior living communities in New England. She has held several executive director roles within assisted living, memory care and luxury independent living communities. In addition to several Leadership Council Awards for her work in senior living, Maria received a National Quality Award from the National Center for Assisted Living.
Shari Flight
Director of Community Relations
“Memory care is my passion, and it’s an honor to be able to provide families with peace of mind.”
Shari Flight works with families to explore their options for memory care and build positive relationships within the local community. She previously worked at several Massachusetts-based senior housing and memory care communities in roles that include program director, life enrichment director and activities assistant. Shari also co-founded Ember Holistic Care LLC, a dementia consulting company with a holistic focus. She graduated from Worcester State College with a B.S. in psychology and has a master’s degree in Human Services, with a concentration in Gerontology, from Capella University. Shari is a Certified Dementia practitioner and Teepa Snow Positive Approach to Care coach.
