The Cordwainer Collaborates with Respected Neurologist for Educational Programs and Training

NORWELL – Dr. Garrett Friedman, a respected cognitive behavioral neurologist in the Cognitive Neurology Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Instructor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, is partnering with The Cordwainer Memory Care Assisted Living to deliver educational lectures at the community, develop staff training programs, and be a resource for families of the community’s residents.

Dr. Friedman graduated from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel. He completed his neurology residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Montefiore Medical Center, graduating as administrative chief resident. He is fellowship-trained at the Boston University VA Medical Center program in cognitive behavioral neurology. His clinical expertise and research focus is the management of memory disorders including Alzheimer’s Disease. He also does research on the neurological basis of human consciousness.
