The article highlights how The Cordwainer’s founders, Tamilyn and Bodo Liesenfeld of Anthemion Senior Lifestyles, researched memory care therapies, technology and building designs in Europe and the United States before opening the 54-suite memory care community in late 2022. Additionally, the feature article discusses the specific design features – from accentuating natural light, amplifying connections to nature, and incorporating extensive common areas and the overall flow of the internal space – to support resident well-being.
