Maria Lastoria

Executive Director

Maria Lastoria oversees The Cordwainer community operations and memory care team. She has more than 30 years of experience in senior living and was recently named Executive Director of the Year by the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association. Maria previously served as Regional Director of Operations, overseeing six senior living communities in New England. She has held several executive director roles leading luxury independent living, assisted living, and dementia and Alzheimer's care teams. In addition to several Leadership Council Awards for her work in senior living, Maria received a National Quality Award from the National Center for Assisted Living. Maria is a respected leader whose approach inspires excellence across our team for dementia care.

The Cordwainer is a family-owned and operated memory care assisted living community. It is managed by Anthemion Senior Lifestyles, founded to develop and operate specially designed lifestyle communities for adults.

Tamilyn is a senior housing executive with more than 30 years of financial and operational experience focusing on independent and assisted living, Alzheimer’s assisted living, and long-term and short-term skilled nursing care, including specialty programs for brain injury and ventilation care. She has more than 25 years of experience in ground up development of independent and assisted living communities. Tamilyn is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, a Member of the Board of Assessors for the Town of Weston, and a former Member of the Women’s Leadership Council at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.

Bodo is Managing Partner of Liesenfeld International GmbH, a private investment enterprise with more than 15 years of private investment experience. Bodo is a Fellow at Harvard's Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, a Member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association, a Member of the Board of Advisors at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute and past President (2017-2021) of the German-American Business Council in Boston. Bodo’s leadership supports The Cordwainer’s vision as a trailblazing dementia care leader in the region.
