Qualifications:
- Completion of all vaccinations and boosters as require by the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, Covid and flu, or have declination on file
- High School Graduate
- One-year dietary experience in healthcare preferably
- A sincere desire to work with older adults
- Promote health and wellbeing for all residents
- Must be understanding, patient, and kind and willing to learn more about the special needs for our residents
- Must be a team player with other staff members
- Never convicted of a felony
- Expectation is to smile when engaging with our residents, family members, and guests
- Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
- Servsafe certified or willingness to obtain
- In good mental and physical health
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review menus prior to cooking
- Review diet needs with staff to ensure to correct diets are served appropriately
- Learn diet profiles of each resident
- Responsible for dating all food when stored
- Assist in outside activities
- Responsible to maintain a temperature log for all food served
- Assist in the development, printing and distribution of a daily menus
- Assist in daily or scheduled duties
- Assist in food production planning with the Culinary Director
